Northbank was contracted with the USACE to perform the tear down, refurbishment and final installation of a 2800 horsepower adjustable pitch propeller water pump. Fish Pump No. 2 provides attraction water to the Oregon shore fish ladder at the McNary Dam in Umatilla, Oregon. Work involved an as-built precision survey prior to tear-down, build-up and re-machining of motor and pump shaft, replacement of all bearings, installation of a modern condition monitoring system and full re-assembly and testing. Approximate size of the fish pump is 24 foot diameter by 70 feet deep.
