Northbank Civil and Marine’s bridge experience consists of difficult access and short work window type of bridges. One such example was our Swiftcurrent Creek Spillway Bridge Reconstruction. This bridge replacement was in Glacier National Park, Montana, during the off-season. The complete removal and installation occurred in two short 6-week windows with most services and supplies coming from more than 3 hours away. Other bridge type work we perform includes rehabilitation of mechanical/moving type of bridges, such as our Hood Canal Bridge Special Repair project for Washington Department of Transportation. This included structural, mechanical and hydraulic rehabilitation of the two 300 foot draw span pontoons on the longest floating bridge in the world located in a saltwater tidal basin.
